BOMCA offers a coordination platform to donors interested in border management reform in Central Asia.  This comprises:

  • Annual Donor/Government Round Tables to agree strategies and approaches
  • Regular technical-level coordination meetings for implementing Agencies in each country to report on progress and share future plans
  • Bi-Annual reporting to the Central Asia Border Services Initiative (CABSI), established by the Austrian Government Ministry of the Interior.  The CABSI includes members from 9 European Member States and candidate countries, and enjoys permanent representation from the United States
