INTEGRATED BORDER MANAGEMENT TRAINING IN UZBEKISTAN
TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, 25 June 2010 – Over the course of five days, twenty-two representatives of the Uzbek border management agencies (the State Border Guards Committee under the National Security Service, the Military Customs Institute, the Phyto-Sanitary, the Veterinary and the Quarantine Control Services) participated in an Integrated Border Management (IBM) skills training workshop. It was organised with the support of the EU-UNDP BOMCA assistance programme together with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).

A REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR DRUG ADDICTED CONVICTS INAUGURATED IN KYRGYZSTAN
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, 3 March 2010 – Today the EU-UNDP Central Asia Drug Action Programme (CADAP) handed over to the State Sentence Execution Service a refurbished and equipped building of the Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation Centre located at the prison # 31 in Moldovanovka village.

REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR DRUG ADDICTED CONVICTS INAUGURATED IN TURKMENISTAN
TEJEN (Turkmenistan), 26 February 2010 – The EU-UNDP Central Asia Drug Action Programme (CADAP) handed over a refurbished and equipped building of the rehabilitation centre at the Labour and Treatment Facility in the city of Tejen to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
